Becoming a 'Youtuber'

As I'm sure many of you are aware, there are hundreds of people taking to YouTube to share their lives and fashion advice with us, giving us great fashion tips, make-up must haves, and life lessons and advice. I have watched, and at times re-watched, some of my favourite You-tubers (The one I love most has to be Velvetgh0st), each time wanting more and more to be able to do what they do. I am undeniably interested in make-up and fashion, and love seeing the latest must haves, for me to scurry to the shops and buy, and would love more than anything to become, in my eyes, a 'Beauty Guru'. This for me isn't something I will see as a career path or I am just doing to be 'Famous' but more for a relief from uni work, and a little extra fun, something I can get involved in, that's just for me. I have wondered, however, how you even get started, what camera to invest in, how to get 'noticed' what do people actually want to see, and of course the self doubting questions of 'will I be any good?' 'Will anyone actually like me?'
I am writing this as a call for help, for advice on how to get started, more than anything else, and to see whether any of you fellow bloggers, are wondering the same as me?

50 things that make me laugh!

So, recently I've been a little bit down, about life in general, not being at uni with my friends, my hometown being boring, that kind of thing. So I compiled a list of things that usually make me laugh, to see what I can do to cheer myself up. I also thought it would be a good way for you to get to know me a bit better. So here it goes.

50 things that make me laugh. (In no particular order)

1) My amazing friends (goes without saying really)
2) Vine videos
3) People falling over (harsh, but we all laugh)
4) People who have bad camel toe (like what is that?)
5) The phrase Gator Down from The princess and the frog (Great when someone's drunkenly fallen over)
6)Alcohol (Because no good story started with, water)
7) The Inbetweener's (if you haven't seen the series or movie, you really need too)
8) My cocker spaniel jake (he's a bit crazy)
9) Glozelle on YouTube (don't know her, YouTube her, funniest few minutes of your life)
10) Nights out at my university club called Kasbah
11) Drunken stories from the morning after
12) Dancing to Gangnam Style thinking you're really cool (yes I have done this a lot, there is even a video, but I won't show that)
13) The video called 'Sittin on the toilet' (don't ask, just watch)
14) People who do really bad Indian accent impressions (what are you even saying?)
15) Horge (a waiter I met in Las Vegas, it's a family inside joke)
16) Yo mama jokes (because the older we get, the lamer they are, but the nostalgia is great)
17) Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect (this never gets old, she is my favourite character)
18) limerick's (Irish poems made to rip people until its funny)
19) Jeremy Kyle (tv show which shows every chav in the uk, with him ripping them to pieces)
20) Lee Evans
21) Stand Up comedians
22) You've been framed
23) Top 50 Ghetto girls name on YouTube
24) Harry potter puppet pals on YouTube
25) Embarrassing night club photos (get joining in Facebook)
26) Jamie's World videos (on Facebook, so true to real life)
27) My best friend Leanne
28) The film Bring it on
29) House party's
30) The film Grown Ups
31) Snapchats with your best friends
32) The tv show Mrs Browns Boys
33) The tv show Miranda
34) The character big nose thug from the Disney film Tangled
35) Hula hoops (not the crisps, but the toys)
36) The word Foof
37) Disney films
38) Dressing up on nights out
39) Drinking Games I.e. I have never and Ring of fire
40) Sexual innuendos (so immature at times)
41) Cat fights
42) Rude tube
43) Knock knock jokes (only the good ones)
44) Top Gear
45) Comedy movies
46) Duck faces (like what is that?)
47) The word 'Awky' (inside joke)
48) How animals eat, YouTube video
49) How humans eat, YouTube video
50) The Goonies

I have actually found this to be a really useful technique, when I've been feeling a bit low, or bored or upset. It makes me realise there is more to laugh about than to cry about. And by looking at my list I've watched, or seen or done some of the things that make me laugh most. Happiness is made at home.

Introduction

I'm not going to try and sound remotely clever, or funny, by telling you a cool story about myself. I am just going to simply state why I have decided to create this blog.
I am 20 years old, I study English at University, and have a part time job. I love to write, and believe this will be a great way to not only get my opinions out to everyone, but help me on a personal level with my degree.
I intend to write about everything that takes my fancy. This will include, film and music reviews, make-up and fashion information, places I have travelled to, and even work from my course.
I hope that people find my blog helpful and enjoy reading it as much as I will enjoy creating it, and that people find my post's interesting and helpful.
So please, bare with, on my literary journey, with everything to do with life, and I hope you enjoy enough to follow me.
